Nice addition to my new MAG-8200 grinder and MAG-1000 balancer purchase. Makes for gradual monitoring angle transition from 30 degrees to 45 degrees without one massive grind on my pasture blades. All In all, I'm very happy with my new blade grinder & balancer, much needed new tools for my two mowers and six acres of mowing. MLB

I recently purchased two of these gauges. The product is easy to use, has no sharp edges to worry about (it is well-made), and the markings are clear. This tool is a fine complement to my Gold Edition Balancer (MAG-1000GC) and my 16-Piece Blade Hole Adapter Set (1000-38_SET). I highly recommend this product.
I think this is an awesome tool to check blade angle and thickness. Previously I was using a digital angle finder for angle but this will be much quicker. My only suggestion would be to maybe offer the blade thickness and angle gauges as separate pieces. The reason is the industry standard is a 30 degree blade angle so it would be nice if the gauge went from 15 degrees to 45 degrees. Then I could check above and below the 30. In order to do this it would probably need to be on its own gauge or on one it would need to be a bigger size.
Lawn Blade Angle and Thickness Gauge to help you easily measure the cutting edge angle of lawn mower blades. The other side of the gauge measures the thickness of mower blades making it easy for you know what thickness your blades are for reordering blades based on dimensions. It is made of laser cut stainless steel and the text on the card is laser etched so it can not be worn off the gauge. The dimensions are 3.5" x 2" x 0.032" thick and comes packaged in a light plastic sleeve.
The small hole in the lower left corner of the gauge is there for you to connect a key ring or light chain to be hung from your sharpener's stand for quick access.
