I installed this on my old Mag-9000 that I've had for over 30 years. It had a 5/16 threaded rod with washers and no thrust washers. I upgraded to the new 3/8 threaded rod with thrust washers on both ends and a new crank handle. Everything works so much smoother now. Magna-Matic makes top of the line equipment!
