The balancer arm stand was the perfect mounting solution for by Magna-Matic 1000. I needed something stable, perfectly straight, and strong. This arm stand fit the bill. If you what the highly accurate Magna-Matic balancers to perform at their best, consider getting this arm stand. By doing so, you help ensure you have the balancer perfectly mounted. I have the arm stand mounted on my work bench.
This stand is absolutely sturdy. I added the balancer to make it a nice piece of equipment for blade sharping projects. It stands next to my blade grinder.

The 10400-05 Balancer Arm Stand is a fixed arm designed to be mounted on a table or workbench providing some of the same benefits as the total MAG-10400, but using your existing workbench. While all Magna-Matic balancing instruments can be simply bolted to a wall surface, sometimes due to deep workbenches or shelves wall space may not be available.
Hardware to mount a balancer to the arm is included.
Hardware to mount the arm to a table is NOT included, holes are 5/16".
